Vocational training in Germany is highly esteemed and is considered one of the best in the world. There are various sectors for vocational training, and completing a traineeship requires applicants to have finished a certain level of school education. After passing exams, trainees earn a nationally recognized qualification. To pursue a vocational traineeship in Germany, applicants also need to provide a language certificate showing at least a B1 proficiency level according to the European framework. A dual vocational traineeship involves both learning at a vocational school and gaining hands-on experience at a company. Trainees have a contract with the company responsible for their training and receive a salary throughout the course. Importantly, there are no fees to pay for this program.
